Ratatouille (2007)
|
Pixar are yet to make a bad film (although I did not enjoy A Bugs Life too much many did) and this film is definitely not an exception to the rule. Is it as good as The Incredibles or Toy Story? No but it is definitely up there. The story of a rat, who has a cooking fetish and ends up transforming the abilities of a relatively poor chef is pretty good although very predictable. The animation is first class and the effort put into making the film look perfect is there for everyone to see. Brad Bird is a brilliant director for Pixar to have at their disposal and for a second picture he does a good job. This is a must see film this Autumn, it’s just a shame we in Europe have had to wait an extra month after America. While childish all should enjoy this film. Review by Jonathan Little
