Darwin Awards (2006)

I am a fan of the Darwin Awards. The awards are given on a yearly basis to people who kill themselves in unbelievably stupid ways. In return they do humanity in general a favour by removing themselves from the gene pool. The film follows a characters goal to try and find out why these people are driven to do these things to try and stop them from being covered by their insurance and to try and stop them from happening at all. The leads are pretty good in this film but the storyline is so flat and generally dull that you just yearn for it to get a move on and show another stupid death. There are only a couple of full on comedic moments in the whole film which makes it rather disappointing. This could have been so very much better.
