Thankyou For Smoking (2006)

The trailer for Thank You For Smoking definately portrays its best and wittiest bits. All in All it is quite an average film, however, you cannot help but love it. The plot is quite reminiscent of 1,000 other films however it attacks it in a way that seems fresh (not a word usually associated with smoking) and new. The film focusses on Nick Naylor a Tobacco lobbyist in Washington and follows him on his daily business as Katie Holmes' reporter Heather Holloway tries to find out about his life and expose him. The plot may be simple and hold few punches but few will dislike this film. It has comedy value and the narrative is witty. However do not expect too much from it as you may be disappointed.
