Alien vs Predator: Requiem (2008)

I quite enjoyed the first AVP film that came out several years ago but I was younger then. This film ramps up the gore factor as a town seeks to survive an infestation of aliens while a lone predator is sent out for... I am not entirely sure, initially he seems to be there to investigate his ships crash but then just seems to appear to cause trouble. The acting was relatively poor and the dialogue was terrible with unlikely circumstances and a dreadful ending. This film will be enjoyable to action fans wanting their fill of gory death but not really for anyone wanting a little more from their evenings cinema visit. The acting talent is non existent with the only recognisable character being from tv show 24. The film to its credit gets the action sequences right and the town in panic idea is relatively well done, that would seem to be the only thing that is indeed well done though!
